Wisata Bahari Pantai Sadranan Gunungkidul: Kajian Karakteristik dan Motivasi Wisatawan

Abstract

Sadranan Beach offers highly attractive tourism features that draw visitors. These attractions include stretches of white sand, snorkeling activities, canoe paddling, and captivating photo spots. The variety of activities available at Sadranan Beach gives it a competitive edge over other beaches in Gunungkidul. This study aims to identify the elements that attract tourists to Pantai Sadranan, understand tourist motivations, and analyze the socio-demographic characteristics of the visitors. The results of this study indicate that the majority of tourists at Sadranan Beach are males aged between 25 and 44 years. Most tourists come from outside Yogyakarta, with the highest educational level being equivalent to high school, and are predominantly students or pupils. The primary motivations for visiting the beach are to enjoy the natural scenery, snorkeling, canoe paddling, relaxing in gazebos, watching sunrises and sunsets, and camping.
