This research is based on the importance of tourism management that involves the participation of local communities. Genilangit Tourism Village in Magetan Regency, East Java, is the main focus of this study, where the development of tourism potential based on the active participation of local communities is the main concern. Community-based tourism management (CBT) is expected to improve welfare and empower local communities. This research aims to (1) identify tourism attractions, facilities and accessibility in Genilangit Village, (2) analyze the management of existing tourism facilities in Genilangit Village, and (3) understand the impact of community participation in managing tourism support facilities in Genilangit Village . The concept of Community Based Tourism (CBT) is the main theoretical basis for this research, which emphasizes the active role of local communities in tourism development and management. Tourism management model according to G.R. Terry which includes Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling (POAC) is also used to analyze the tourism management process in Genilangit Village. The research results show that tourism facilities in Genilangit Village are quite complete, but there are accessibility problems that need to be addressed, especially related to road and transportation infrastructure. Active community participation through BPD, BUMDES, and Karang Taruna in managing tourist facilities has shown positive results. To optimize tourism potential, it is recommended to improve infrastructure, provide training for local communities, and involve more stakeholders in the tourism planning and management process
