PENGEMBANGAN WISATA SELAM DI BANGGAI KEPULAUAN

Banggai Islands Regency is located in Central Sulawesi Province. The area has martime potencies in snorkeling and scuba diving that can be developed further. This study aims to plan the development of diving tourism in the Banggai Islands. The secondary data was used with analysis of descriptive-qualitative. The results showed that the development planning of diving tourism in Banggai Islands has been stated in the Master Plan for Tourism Development of Banggai Kepulauan (Rippkab) and followed by the preparation of Detail Engineering Design (DED). In accordance with the objectives, vision, and mission to be achieved, its implementation must involve relevant stakeholders. The actualization of the plan suppose to be carried out through the collaboration and synergy of tourism actors to avoid the overlapping.
